“I have known Megan for many years and have had the opportunity to listen and learn about the struggles she has endured in her lifetime.  Knowing her story, I wanted to give her the opportunity to share it with others in my circle.  I work with many widows and widowers in my line of work, so I thought it would be appropriate to host an event and let Megan share her story.  We had around 25 people in attendance and Megan started speaking and everyone in the room was watching with steadfast attention.  The presentation was amazing as it started with her story and ended with her “counseling/comforting” everyone in the room that has gone through similar struggles.  I have not dealt with much death in my lifetime and the presentation really made an impact on me.  I often think about what she has gone through and try to make every day count with my family and thank God for the blessings He has given us today.  Megan’s story reminds us that every day is a blessing.
